A truck upgrade featuring a Palfinger PK 24.001 SLD5 crane and a TS-6.7 platform measuring 6700 mm in length has been delivered in town Ploče. The crane is equipped with five hydraulic extensions, providing a maximum outreach of 14.8 meters. It is operated via a remote control. The crane includes telescopic, hydraulically extendable swing-out stabilizers. It is also equipped with the HPSC-E system, which calculates the lifting capacity based on the extension position of the stabilizers. This allows safe crane operation in tight spaces where the stabilizers cannot be fully extended.
The sub-frame and platform are made from high-quality steel profiles. The platform includes openings for easy load securing. The side panels are made of aluminum and designed in two sections, with a removable central pillar. The floor is made of anti-slip plywood.
The upgrade was delivered to the company Podvodni radovi Ploče. Established in 2002, the company specializes in hydro-construction works, including the construction of ports, waterfronts, breakwaters, underwater outfalls, and pipelines. They employ 9 experienced divers, all certified for underwater construction work, including qualifications for underwater blasting, as well as a construction engineer and site manager.
