Last week, the PK company organized testing of the off-road performance of the Ford Ranger 4×4 on the “Slavonian” plains in the town of Oprisavci near Slavonski Brod. The vehicle’s driving and stabilization were tested in all off-road conditions. The vehicle proved to be extremely “powerful” for all the challenges of driving on muddy, wet and gravel terrain. The conditions were ideal for testing vehicles for companies operating in that area. For this occasion, off-road tires 255/70 R16 were mounted on the vehicle. All partners present had the opportunity to test the driving and operation of the Palfinger P130A work platform .
The Palfinger platform P130A impresses with its simplicity and functionality. It is installed on a B category vehicle, which is a big advantage. The working height is 13m, while the lateral reach is 6m. The capacity of the work basket is 250 kg, designed for two workers and a tool. There is an air/water/electricity connection in the work basket. Operation is fully hydraulic, and it is possible from the work basket and from the ground. The vehicle is extremely compact, has an ergonomic design and an extremely low center of gravity, which gives it maximum stability when moving on the road or off-road roads.
The plan is to make more similar presentations, so Ford has several more adventures in the coming period.
