Elektro Doboj has strengthened its fleet with a Mercedes-Benz Unimog with a Palfinger PK 19.001 SLD5 crane and a PST100 pole transport trailer. It is a multi-purpose and reliable vehicle whose quality is guaranteed by a sturdy Mercedes-Benz chassis, a multifunctional Palfinger crane with additional equipment and a PK superstructure. The vehicle is extremely sturdy and reliable, and with all the accompanying equipment it definitely represents a unique tool for the electricity industry. In addition to the special superstructure with a trailer, the company was delivered a Palfinger P130A work platform on a Ford Ranger 4×4.

The Mercedes-Benz Unimog is an extreme all-terrain vehicle with exceptional cross-country ability. The vehicle concept with single wheels on the front and rear axles, portal axles with increased clearance, fully protected transmission, differential locks, specially designed chassis frame, coil springs and assembly of aggregates that corresponds to the extreme conditions of exploitation ensures transport on rough off-road terrains and in the most difficult conditions. The Mercedes-Benz Unimog U5000 is a unique vehicle with exceptional off-road capabilities that enable it to deliver cargo, equipment and crew to even the most inaccessible places.

The Unimog has been fitted with a Palfinger crane, a 2500 mm long platform with a removable turntable for transporting poles, a winch and a demountable plough installation. The Palfinger crane is equipped with a 200 kg working basket and a drilling rig with a 2200 mm long drill bit. The crane has a five-fold hydraulic extension with a maximum reach of 14.7 m and radio control for clearer handling of loads. In addition to the Palfinger crane, the Unimog has been fitted with a platform with internal dimensions of 2500x2480x600 mm with steel sides. Inside the platform is a demountable turntable for transporting poles with telescopic pole supports adjustable in height. A demountable snow plough with hydraulic up/down, left/right and 30 degree horizontal rotation for so-called plowing can be mounted on the front of the truck. A Rasco snow plow was delivered, which is 2800 mm wide and is made of a solid lattice frame that is extremely resistant to torsion and bending. In addition to the plow, there is a removable winch with 70m of cable on the front. The winch can be controlled from the vehicle cabin because the control panel is connected to a 5m cable. A single-axle trailer for transporting poles PST100 with a 5t axle was delivered with the truck. The drawbar is sliding so that poles of different lengths can be transported. A turntable with telescopic pole supports adjustable in height is mounted on the trailer.

The Ford Ranger 4×4 with Palfinger P130A work platform is a work vehicle for working at heights. The working height is 13m, while the lateral reach is 6m. The work platform has a maximum load capacity of 250kg, meaning it is designed for two people with tools.
