For the second year in a row, PK – Palfinger Kran doo is the sponsor of the wood technology conference, a large annual meeting of the wood processing industry in Croatia and the SEE region, which will be held on June 5 and 6. held in Opatija in the organization of the Croatian Wood Cluster and CROBIOM , the Croatian Biomass Association.

The event was attended by over 350 industry representatives and a number of important participants from the political and institutional milieu.

The topics that could be heard at the two-day conference were:

• employment opportunities in the wood sector through active employment policy measures and
• the importance of the wood-processing industry for the economic and demographic survival of rural areas.

Through various panel discussions, experts from the wood processing industry discussed the role of competent institutions and economic diplomacy in encouraging exports, training operators of the latest technologies, and the profitability of cogeneration plants.

The company PK Palfinger Kran doo presented its PK products for forestry. Forestry trailers and semi-trailers for transporting logs and other timber, and Palfinger Epsilon cranes.
