A complete forestry truck setup has been delivered to long-time partner Autoprijevoznik Rifet Forić, featuring a Palfinger Epsilon M12Z83 crane with an 8.3-meter reach and a PSM 200 logging trailer. The entire system is mounted on a Volvo FH 500 HP 6×4 Rigid chassis.
The truck body includes a forestry platform without a floor, measuring 6200 mm in length, and is equipped with two pairs of ExTe stakes, each rated for 10 tonnes. The front wall is KTL-coated, offering enhanced corrosion resistance and long-term durability.
The Epsilon crane is part of Palfinger’s new Epsolution series, designed with complete protection of all key components. Both the main and auxiliary lifting cylinders are shielded, and all hydraulic hoses are routed internally through the boom to prevent damage from external elements or weather. The crane is operated from an elevated “classic drive” seat with manual controls, providing excellent visibility and control during loading operations.
The PSM 200 logging trailer features a floorless design with aluminum underbody protection. The loading platform measures 7000 mm and includes four pairs of ExTe D7 stakes, each with a 7-tonne load capacity. It’s equipped with air suspension, air disc brakes, and a WABCO weighing system for real-time payload monitoring. With a tare weight of just 3700 kg, the trailer offers a generous payload capacity of 16300 kg.
