Two more of a total of 14 superstructures mounted on Mercedes-Benz Arocs trucks have been delivered to CE-ZA-R Centar za reciklažu d.o.o. These two “recycling” superstructures consist of Palfinger Epsilon C70Z73 cranes with a reach of 7.3 meters and SKK 115-5.2 rear municipal tippers, 5200 mm in length with a volume of 24 m³.
The Palfinger Epsilon C70Z73 crane is equipped with a SG 204 polyp grab with four tines and a volume of 200 liters. The crane is operated from a high seat using control levers and foot pedals mounted on the seat itself.
The truck is fitted with a SKK 115-5.2 rear municipal tipper, with internal dimensions of 5200x2300x2000 mm and a volume of 24 m³. The steel tipper body has fixed side panels, while the rear panel opens “like a book.”
CE-ZA-R Centar za reciklažu d.o.o., based in Zagreb, is primarily engaged in the production of secondary metal raw materials, i.e. recycling. The company has long relied on PK superstructures with Palfinger Epsilon cranes for the handling and transport of raw materials. These are the first two superstructures in a series of recycling-related builds scheduled for delivery in early 2019. year.
