A PK truck installation with a Palfinger PK 5.501 SLD5 crane and a three-way tipper TK 35-3.1 with aluminium side panels has been delivered to Ponikve Eko Otok Krk. The installation is mounted on an IVECO Daily 70C21.

Palfinger PK 5.501 SLD5 is the latest crane model, featuring radio remote control as standard equipment. The crane is also equipped with manual control stations on both sides. The delivered crane has 4 hydraulic extensions, providing a maximum outreach of 11 meters. An aluminum work basket for two persons, with automatic leveling and a capacity of 200 kg, was also supplied with the crane.

Inside the tipper box, two toolboxes are installed—one with compartments and the other designed for transporting a generator. The tipper also includes a holder for crane transport and two holders for transporting pipes. The internal dimensions of the tipper are 3100 x 2200 x 400 mm.

Ponikve Eko Otok Krk has been operating since 1960 on the island of Krk. In addition to water production and distribution, the company handles waste collection and disposal, cleaning of business premises, maintenance of public and green areas, cemetery upkeep, and funeral services. For many years, they have been upgrading and renewing their fleet with PK truck installations featuring Palfinger cranes.
