A PK forestry superstructure with a Palfinger Epsilon M12Z105 crane and a PK forestry trailer PSM 240 has been delivered to the forest management Unit Oštrelj – Drinić. The superstructure is mounted on an Iveco Trakker AD380.

The Palfinger Epsilon M12Z105 crane, with a reach of 10.5 meters, is equipped with a Palfinger Epsilon FG 53 grapple. The crane features a high seat, the so-called “classic drive”, with mechanical cross levers and mechanical foot pedals for control. As with every Epsilon crane, the hydraulic hoses are routed inside the crane boom for added protection.

A floorless forestry platform, 6400 mm in length, is mounted on the truck. It includes a steel underbody guard and a steel front wall with KTL coating. A steel mounting stand for the grapple is installed on the front section of the platform. Stake pockets, as well as the front and rear protective walls, are painted in the same color as the cab. The platform is equipped with 4 pairs of ExTe D10 aluminum stakes, each with a load capacity of 10 tons.
The delivery also included the forestry trailer PSM 240, with a gross weight of 24000 kg and a payload capacity of 14000 kg. The loading platform is 7000 mm long and equipped with 4 pairs of ExTe D10 aluminum stakes. As with every PK forestry trailer, it features ECO tronic systems (EBS, ALB, TRS), which ensure shorter braking distances, adapt braking force to the trailer load, and protect against lateral overturning.
