SŠ Brijest from Cazin has upgraded its machinery with a new forestry truck body equipped with a Palfinger Epsilon M120Z96 crane and a modular forestry platform. The upgrade is mounted on a Mercedes-Benz Arocs 3351AA 6×6 vehicle.
The Palfinger Epsilon M120Z96 crane offers a reach of 9.6 meters and is delivered with the Comfort Package, including an electric control box mounted on the base. Also delivered with the crane is an Epsilon FG53 log grapple with a capacity of 0.50 m². The crane is mounted on a 6300 mm long modular platform. The loading platform is made from segmented checker steel plates reinforced with cross ribs underneath. Rear lights are additionally protected by galvanized protective covers. The body is equipped with two toolboxes made from ribbed aluminum. The steel underrun protection is painted in the same color as the truck cab.
The vehicle is accompanied by a dual-axle forestry trailer PSM 240-7.0 for log transport. The trailer’s loading area is 7000 mm long. The floor is made of modular checker steel plates. Steel ExTe bunks 144, with a load capacity of 7 tonnes, are mounted on the trailer bed.
