The company Mladost has been delivered a “tow truck” upgrade featuring a Palfinger PK 17500T crane and a fixed platform. The PK upgrade is mounted on an Iveco Eurocargo ML120EL22 4×2.

The Palfinger PK 17500T crane is specifically designed for tow truck configurations. The delivered crane includes four hydraulic extensions with a reach of 10 meters. At the end of the extensions, hydraulic lines are installed to support two additional devices — intended for a rotator and a hydraulic crossbar. The KH4 hydraulic crossbar was developed by PK, has a lifting capacity of 4 tons, and includes hydraulic adjustment of the vehicle’s center of gravity during handling. It also features three folding positions, allowing it to be transported on platforms ranging from 2300 mm to 2550 mm in width.

The fixed platform F100 has a usable length of 5000 mm. The loading surface is made from high-strength steel plate coated with an anti-slip layer. The platform includes galvanized wheel chocks that are removable and can be positioned depending on the vehicle length. For easier nighttime operation, work lights are mounted under the crane’s main boom and on the platform.

Mladost d.o.o. from Karlovac, under the authorization of the City of Karlovac, performs parking maintenance and fee collection services throughout the city. In addition, one of the company’s main responsibilities is the maintenance, management, and operation of sports facilities owned by the City of Karlovac.
