The Croatian Automobile Club has taken delivery of four PK roadside assistance upgrades. The upgrades will be distributed throughout Croatia and will be available to HAK service users.
AK Crikvenica strengthened with a spider upgrade. A Palfinger crane PK 13500T and a hydraulic tilting/sliding platform HK130 with a length of 5850 mm are mounted on the MAN TGL 12.220 4×2. The complete auxiliary chassis is galvanized. Folding ropes for tying the load are mounted on the platform. The platform is controlled by radio control. At the rear end of the vehicle there are 1500 kg load-bearing buckets, and the controls for using the buckets are behind the rear wheels. Palfinger crane PK 13500T has a reach of 8m and at the end of the crane is mounted a hydraulic cross for transporting vehicles with a load capacity of 4t with hydraulic adjustment of the vehicle’s center of gravity. The crane is also operated by radio control. Additional equipment includes tool boxes, a trash can, a water bucket, broom and shovel holders, and LED work reflectors on the front part of the platform and on the rear end of the truck.
AK Vinkovci was supplied with a towing service with a special crane in the middle of the hydraulic sliding platform. A 5700 mm long platform was mounted on a MAN TGL 10.194 4×2. The platform also has hydraulically extendable ramps at the rear, 1500 mm long, for easier vehicle loading. Holes are provided along the edge of the platform for easier vehicle attachment. There is a hydraulic movable winch at the front of the platform. The superstructure is also equipped with 1500 kg load-bearing beams at the rear of the vehicle. The superstructure is equipped with radio control, a tool box with lighting, a trash can, a water can, LED signage, a broom and shovel holder, and work spotlights on the platform and rear of the vehicle.
AK Sesvete took over fourth PK upgrade for towing services on the MAN TGL 10.220 4×2, it is a hydraulically sliding HK100 platform with a length of 5700 mm. The platform is equipped with a hydraulic movable winch that has a hook for transporting trailers. On the rear part of the vehicle are mounted 1500 kg load-bearing buckets. The platform and the winch are operated via radio control. The upgrade is also equipped with a tool box with lighting, a trash can, a water bucket, roof LED signaling, broom and shovel supports, and working reflectors on the platform and the rear of the vehicle. An electric winch with a cable and a hook for pulling out the vehicle is mounted on the front of the vehicle.
An aluminum hydraulic sliding platform HK75 with a length of 5510 mm mounted on an Iveco Daily 70C17 was delivered to AK Pula. The platform has a hydraulic movable winch and a hook intended for transporting trailers. On the edge of the platform, there are holes for attaching the load, and at the end there are three positions for placing the pulley for guiding the cable when pulling out the vehicle. The platform is managed via radio control. The vehicle also has a tow bar. Among the other equipment, tool boxes, a garbage box, a water bucket, and broom and shovel holders are mounted on the vehicle.
