The Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Croatia has been delivered a DOK-ING command and communication center for crisis situations with a Palfinger T18 hookloader . This is the first of three planned deliveries. The upgrade was carried out on a MAN TGS 25 with a double cabin. The T18A hookloader for containers with a capacity of 18t has an articulated arm that facilitates the loading of containers onto the trailer. The stretcher can transport containers up to 6670 mm long.
On February 16, 2021, the handover of DOK-ING’s command and communication center with a multifunctional robotic system for crisis situations to the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Croatia took place. The command and communication center with a multifunctional robotic system for crisis situations is the first of a total of 3 deliveries to the Ministry of the Interior. Immediately after delivery, the system was handed over to the end user, the State Civil Protection Intervention Unit – Zagreb.
DOK-ING’s command and communication center with a multifunctional robotic system for crisis situations is the first such system in the world, and it will be used by Croatian intervention units. It was conceived and designed for emergency interventions in situations where the intervention of human crews is limited or even impossible due to extreme environmental conditions such as high temperatures, explosions and collapse of buildings. Using the current technology, the interventions of operational forces were limited in time and space, waiting for the creation of environmental conditions of acceptable risk for human crews. With the new DOK-ING technology, based on a remotely controlled multifunctional robotic system, the intervention can begin at the moment of arrival, which drastically reduces the intensity and scope of the accident and reduces the number of victims and the extent of damage.
DOK-ING’s multifunctional robotic system has already proven itself in accidents in Russia and in several countries in Asia and Europe, and is in preparation for delivery to several more countries in the European Union. It was delivered to the Ministry of Internal Affairs together with a command and communication center from which operational teams and the robotic system are managed, for the needs of crisis headquarters and operational units.
When the delivery is complete, i.e. all 3 systems are delivered, Croatia will be able to fulfill its obligations under the European Union Civil Protection System in a unique manner within the European Union, which is assistance in the event of major disasters and disasters with nuclear, chemical and biological threats.
The fact that DOK-ING is on the right track in its development is also evidenced by the fact that it is the only Croatian company to have entered the elite circle of European Union companies developing future remotely controlled systems for security and defense systems under the auspices of the European Defense Agency.
