PK team has manufactured its first forestry tractor trailer equipped with a Palfinger Epsilon crane. Drawing on extensive experience and expertise in trailer and forestry superstructure production, the result is the TSM 16, a custom-made trailer designed for the transport, loading, and unloading of logs and other timber materials. The trailer has a gross weight of 16000 kg and a loading area length of 5000 mm. It is fitted with a Palfinger Epsilon C60F86 crane with a reach of 8.6 meters, powered via the tractor’s PTO (power take-off). The trailer itself weighs 4700 kg, leaving a net payload capacity of 11300 kg.

The Palfinger Epsilon C60F86 crane is equipped with an Epsilon FG27 grapple (0.25 m³) and is operated via radio remote control, significantly simplifying log handling and making trailer connection to the tractor more efficient. Heavy-duty stabilizers mounted on the front of the trailer ensure stability during operation. The trailer is also fitted with a hydraulic oil cooler of sufficient capacity to allow for continuous operation in all weather conditions.

The dimensions of the loading area are 5000 x 2200 x 1400 mm. A steel front protection wall is mounted to shield the crane and essential hydraulic components. The platform includes four pairs of in-house manufactured steel stakes. The trailer features high-profile 500/50 R22.5 tires, drum brakes, and a flexible suspension system without leaf springs.

The forestry tractor trailer comes with full service and spare parts support throughout its operational life. Additional custom options or modifications can be made in agreement with the PK team, as this is a fully custom-made product, tailored to meet the specific needs and preferences of the end user. All trailers produced in the PK facility are built from high-quality, long-lasting steel and coated with primer and epoxy paint for enhanced corrosion resistance across all parts of the trailer or PK upgrades.
