The company Brama-Prom has taken delivery of a forestry truck upgrade featuring a Palfinger Epsilon crane and a PK forestry trailer PSM 180. The upgrade is mounted on a MAN TGS 26.460 6×2-2 chassis.

The Palfinger Epsilon crane M120Z79, with a reach of 7.9 meters, is equipped with a Palfinger FG53 grapple with a lifting capacity of 5000 kg. The crane offers operator access from both sides, and four LED work lights have been installed for easier nighttime handling. The hydraulic lines for the grapple are routed inside the crane arm for protection. Like all Palfinger cranes, it is KTL-coated, which contributes to the brand’s reputation for exceptional durability and longevity.

The truck’s loading platform is 5600 mm long, built without a floor, and features aluminum underbody protection. It includes two pairs of ExTe aluminum telescopic stakes, each rated for 10 tons. In addition to the underbody protection, the upgrade includes an aluminum front protection wall. The truck has a payload capacity of 13000 kg, made possible by PK’s modern construction solutions, which combine structural strength with lightweight materials thanks to the use of thinner sheets.

Accompanying the truck is a PSM 180 forestry trailer with a 5225 mm long loading platform. The trailer features aluminum underbody protection and two pairs of ExTe aluminum stakes, each with a 10-ton capacity. The front stake mount is welded, while the rear mount is adjustable and secured with clamps. The trailer is equipped with a scale and monitor for measuring total weight. With a tare weight of only 2600 kg, it offers an impressive payload of nearly 15400 kg.
