Ponikve Eko Otok Krk has taken delivery of a municipal superstructure with a Palfinger Epsilon C70G77 crane with a reach of 7.7 m, equipped with an XST device for emptying underground and semi-underground containers. The crane is mounted on the roof of a refuse truck used for unloading containers. The municipal superstructure is installed on a MAN TGS 28.460.

The crane is radio-controlled, which simplifies the operator’s work. In addition to the hook for lifting underground containers, the XST device for emptying containers is installed. This is an additional option developed at the PK facility, allowing the container to be opened via remote control.

Ponikve Eko Otok Krk has been operating on Krk Island since 1960. In addition to water production and distribution, the company handles waste collection and disposal, cleaning of public and green spaces, cemetery maintenance, and funeral services.
