A forestry truck-trailer combination, equipped with Palfinger Epsilon M110Z79 cranes with a 7.9-meter reach, has been delivered to UPTO Benšak. The setup includes a 5,600 mm-long forestry platform without a floor and a PSM 180 forestry trailer with a gross weight of 18 tons and a 7000 mm-long loading platform, while weighing only 2600 kg. The truck-mounted superstructure is installed on a Mercedes-Benz Actros 2645 L 6×4 chassis.

The forestry platform is designed and manufactured at PK’s production facility, using high-strength steel. The auxiliary chassis, a crucial component of truck superstructures, is built from 6 mm-thick steel, combining exceptional strength with lightweight construction, ultimately increasing the useful payload capacity. Additionally, the platform is fitted with ExTe D10 telescopic aluminum stakes with steel beams, ensuring secure and efficient log transportation.

Benšak, a service, transport and trade company, is one of the largest transport companies in Croatia. Today, they have over 50 trucks for the transport and manipulation of logs, and they perform their activities reliably and efficiently and are one of the leaders in this business in the region. They regularly renew their machinery with PK forestry upgrades with Palfinger Epsilon cranes.
