Split parking today presented four new “spider” service vehicles at St. Peter’s Pier. These are Iveco Eurocargo ML120E25/P vehicles on which the company PK-Palfinger Kran upgraded the F100 loading platform and installed the Palfinger PK 17500T crane with a hydraulic cross for vehicle transport. The company had so far six vehicles for moving illegally parked vehicles. The four new vehicles have a loading platform of the same size as the previous ones, with overall dimensions of 5000x2250mm, but they are narrower and shorter by forty centimeters, which allows them greater accessibility and makes them more convenient and affordable for driving in the city. The lifting capacity of the crane itself is greater than before, so they can access heavier vehicles, which they will now move with larger arms. The Palfinger PK 17500T crane meets the highest standards in ensuring worker protection and vehicle damage during movement.
Thanks to the investment in these four vehicles, the Split parking company should increase the operability and availability of the service, thus increasing their efficiency on the streets of Split.
