The PK team participated in the conference “Forestry Engineering in Southeast Europe – Status and Challenges” which was held last week at the Zalesina teaching and experimental facility. This year’s 12th. edition was organized by the Faculty of Forestry Zagreb and professor Mr. Tomislav Poršinski. Representatives of forestry faculties from the region participated in the conference, where they exchanged experiences related to forestry during the three-day event. As part of the presentations of technologies and mechanization for hauling, transporting and processing logs, the 3rd was presented. generation of Palfinger Epsilon cranes. At the consultation, the characteristics of the new Epsilon forestry crane model, its advantages and benefits in exploitation were presented. In addition to the above, a complete forestry product range was presented, consisting of forestry trucks upgrade with Epsilon cranes (with and without a floor), forestry trailers (two-axle and three-axle, with and without a floor), forestry semi-trailers (with and without a floor) and tractor forestry trailers with an Epsilon crane.

All participants agreed that this was a significant technological and constructional advance that would 3. generation of forestry Epsilon cranes leave on the throne in terms of quality and longevity. The cranes will begin shipping in June next year, and can be ordered today.
